Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane co-wrote this song. Judy Garland first introduced “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” for the musical Meet Me in St. Louis in 1944. A later rendition was recorded by Frank Sinatra with different lyrics.
“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” was ranked the 3rd most performed Christmas song from 2002 to 2007. The American Film Institute has also ranked it among the top 100 songs in American cinema.
